Dan’s immediate family – his three brothers – all remain rooted in Cork where they busy themselves with their careers and families.
Irene’s sisters and her brother are in Cork and Limerick respectively and her mother remains well at a good age in Limerick where she looks after herself with determination.
Irene’s brother Eric continues to work in his own business in Limerick and lives Annette Collins and their new baby Charlie Collins
